Good to see the Argies won, managed to see the main parts of the game, in between giving the gandchild who turned up at half-time, my undivided attention!

 

Despite me being pleased the Argies won, I thought Mbappe was the outstanding player of the tournament for me, the guy is in a world of his own, move over Ronaldo, the new generation has arrived.

I can just about remember all the world cups since 1974 and the might of West Germany, what a team that was or more so the Bayern Munich 'A' team, but have to say the Qatar World Cup will live in the memories of our new generation and is going to take some beating as a spectacular, in much the same way I remember the likes of Muller, Beckenbaur and Maier, engraved on my brain for a lifetime!

 

That's what Qatar paid the money for. Their name associated with the greatest modem world cup and the greatest modern player lifting it.
