Greatest game of football I’ve ever seen, had absolutely everything and both went for it right until penalties. That’s how football should be played. This France team could win everything the next few years mind with the young players coming through.

It was ****e for 75 minutes mind France were unable to compete until they got enough young, energetic players on the pitch. There's no doubt at all in my mind that the virus was a major factor in their performance. This is the whole thing about cup competitions though. You have to take your chance when it comes. Argentina managed to avoid Brazil and played a weakened French side and took full advantage.

There was nothing dodgy about that game like. Both were definite penalties, just like it was a definite dive from Thuram. Goals were all fine, nothing controversial there. The ref was brilliant, as was the whole game. You get the luck of the draw, England have had it quite a bit recently and completely wasted it. The only dodgy thing about the tournament was the fact it was awarded to Qatar in the first place.
