I should be getting this game, I have been playing the Football managers for years.
Who else has got it and if they have got it what signings did you make.

I'm an avid player, always have it running on my laptop whilst doing other things. Won the league in my first season with very few signings. Second season promoted to Championship via play-offs after a huge blip in form, was on for automatic promotion.
Just finished my 3rd pre season and anticipating a tough season ahead of me. Made a few signings that I'm very happy with but very pessimistic regarding my final league position next season.

I wil post a few screenshots such as league tables, transfers, formations etc. this evening once I'm home from work.

The best FM so far in my opinion.

Literally can't wait for it - not yet gotten a laptop to run with it's specifications but will hopefully be doing so this weekend. Quick technical question if I may - do you guys run yours from the disc or play it through the Steam network. I played FM2010 through the game disc, but FM2011 threw up trouble with a graphics card? I presume a new laptop will have an up to date graphics card so that I can just go through and not worry about it!

I run my version through Steam. My laptop is coming up for 3 years old in December and I'm almost certain it hasn't met the specifications for the last 2 years. Keeping in mind I'll have iTunes and Internet Explorer open at the same time. I just tend to tune the game by turning off sounds, graphics and visuals when in matchday mode. Runs perfectly fine with all English leagues and the top 2 from France, Germany, Italy and Spain. So if a laptop you have in mind doesn't quite met the spec, I'm sure it won't be too much of a big deal.

About to start my 3rd season. finished 2nd in L2, 3rd and won playoffs in L1. Going through preseason in 3rd season. not many original Gills left but still got Rooney, Payne, Lee and Whelpdale.

Excellent game, play it every chance I get. Mostly play from disc as cant always get internet connection to play via steam
