No they are a bang average team that got hilariously lucky for the first half of the season with other teams imploding at the right times. The last couple of weeks is a true reflection of the ability level of the team. At first I was wondering how the Vikings curse would hit them this year and now I see it. They will make the play offs with a team not good enough to have a chance of winning the Super Bowl, which will give them a draft pick too low to get a possible QB in a QB heavy class
The offence is good. Defence is poor. So yeah, overall an average team. But if the offence is clicking we tend to get away with a bad defence.
The classic cliche is offences win games and defences win championships. That mantra has been tested in the last few years with some ridiculously high powered offences like the Chiefs and Bills smashing teams, overall I still agree with the classic phrase. And this defence has no chance of winning a championship
