I'm still on the fence with him, but as you say he's not getting real game time so not fair to come down on either side

We couldn't have been more cautious if we tried, it's so easy to defend against

Thought Woods was okay today too but even when he’s having a good game, he looks bang-average. It doesn’t help that he and Seri are similar players. I still think if Seri had someone a bit more robust next to him whose job was to mainly break up play, he’d have even more freedom of the pitch. As of right now, both Seri and Woods are expected to be both ball-winners, which neither are particularly good at.

Don't worry, the manager will be happy they stuck to his game plan. Yet again, over-passing at the back is just asking for trouble. Taking a free kick in your opponent's half and passing it backwards into your own half takes some working out. No point trying to entertain the crowd - who cares what they think? If they don't like it they can stay away - and they will.

Well its sure beginning to look like that. He had a lucky streak when even he was surprised by at least one of his goals. He has done nothing since that streak and to be frank we looked better without him in the last few games. However Tyler Smith is not his replacement.

I understand Rosy is trying to make us hard to beat first things first but that was really lacklustre. Having a man advantage then conceding a **** goal over the top prompted us to give it a go attacking-wise and we got a goal back but even then we didn’t look like scoring a winner. Too much sideways passing and not enough direct passing. Thought Óscar looked quite rusty and everything bounced off him.

Oscars had a long time out with suspension and world Cup. Looked a different player with Tetteh up there with him, but you don't score 7 in 6 purely down to luck.

Okay never saw the game, travelling back from my lad's and listened to second half of second half, but although they said the attendance was over 18k it seemed deathly silent, which suggests we weren't that inspiring. Looking at the comments here suggests Rosie is trying to make us hard to beat as his first priority with what he has available currently. Let's not forget a lot of our 'flair' players are injured, so for me, judging this as his style of play is a bit harsh just yet. I doubt we'll get a huge influx of players during the transfer window tbh, and would be interested to see what finances are available and wriggle room for FFP, wouldnt be surprised to hear him suggest we need to offload before we bring in. For what it's worth, I think he's tightened the ship, and as Bruce used to do, he is trying to sure the defence up before playing a little more expansive stuff. God knows it needed it. Twt, whether Liam is the answer, but given he's been I the job 5 minutes with the majority of flair players injured, I'd hope we can cut the guy some slack.

I dread to think what this clueless twat would do with £180 million if this is an example of how he's pissed the KLP money up a Turkish wall...

Anyway, let him seek comfort in the fact that he's ****ing off to Qatar with the coach tomorrow and we're all left scratching our heads in thermal underwear...

yes as i alluded to before the game

but it doesn't excuse this dire dire performance, no attacking subs until we go down against 10 men

    today was utterly ****

I thought that was a horribly turgid affair and we were lucky to come away with a point after tossing away the penalty. Oscar was utterly ineffective and it didn’t surprise me he missed the penalty. We looked better with Smith up there last week at Watford. Overall, we were far too slow and laboured with almost none of the incisive passes Honeyman used to find. If this is Liam-ball, fans will drift away. Longman and Coyle offered a slight threat from out wide, and Tufan did well to convert Woods’ glorious pass but that was about it. McLoughlin played some beautiful long balls but horribly exposed for their goal. Yuk!

Give him time. Injuries to contend with. Blah blah.
Yes, but explain that starting 11, that set up, the lack of urgency, lack of even shots on target until late on (and even then we only managed 2!),, lack of idea going forward, how long it took to take Smith off, (who walked off as if we were 3 up & wasting time), etc etc.
Sorry but I'm baffled by what we saw today. If this is "the start of the season" as Rosie said, it's going to be a long one.
