Anybody with half an ounce of sense knew it was going through eventually. There wasn't a single legal standing that the PL could have done to stop it. They kicked the can down the road for as long and as hard as they could knowing full well this would wind up in the high courts or the European Courts of Arbitration with every single dirty corruption secret they hide being aired out in public for the world to see....... and then being stiffed with a massive financial compensation claim and the legal expenses.
It all turned out good in the end. It’s a laugh reading the takeover thread though. From the beginning it’s absolute comedy gold.
