"Another break for Newcastle"

Did anyone else pick up on that cheeky little line that Lineker dropped in relating to the Gosling handball? Yes, that's right MOTD, we have been lucky in every single game this season, and in fact deserve to be struggling at the relegation places. It's actually hilarious to see how much they despise seeing us up there in the top 3, they quite literally squirm in their seats when they talk about it.

To be fair lets be honest it was a penalty, though Krul did have the shot covered.

Yep that was a pen too, but that situation wouldn't have happened if Everton had been awarded the penalty for Gosling's handball.

 

It wasn't much of a tug anyway, not even Sammy appealed.

In fairness Lawro correctly said that we've not been great last two home games but we've still got results which is the mark of a successful team. I'm just let down by no one using the phrase 'ground out a result', which is what we've done two home games in a row. Long may it continue.

Jesus, all this moaning about pundits not showering us with compliments is getting annoying and rather tedious now. Yes, Lawro can be a total moron, but it was a penalty. He mentioned more positives about us than negatives.

I agree. I just don't understand this need for validation from 'experts' who lacked the balls or ability to coach or manage. I'd happily finish fourth with Lawro calling us lucky all season, but he isn't. He's been quite nice...

Let's face it. These so-called 'experts' in the media are only really happy when they are salivating over the likes of Man U and Chelsea. When any newcomer arrives to spoil the party, they don't know how to handle it.
