I live in an area of Liverpool where a lot of Liverpool players live so it's not uncommon to bump into them in the local Tesco.
Only 12 players over 250k in PL. Almost all of them very established older players. No teenagers. Harry Kane, England's captain. £200k Virgil £220k Multiple cup winning Firmino £180k as is Fabs and Trent. Our own captain makes £140k Pulisic, who was getting the same levels of hype and linked with everyone like Jude just a few years ago £140k Multiple golden boot winner Vardy is at £140k. You seem to scoff at £250k as a low weekly wage, but it's really not... It's four times the average PL salary. No one with his lack of experience earns more. £250 a week would be a very high salary even for someone like Jude with lots of attention from the press.

I think that's why he had no desire to leave us; he felt the love. He should have been pushing for more playing time but he seemed happy just to be here. If we'd extended, he'd be here till he retired. Not the best player but some of the best ever memories. Thanks Divock.

His signing up of last contract was nearly 5 years ago and competitive for his profile at the time Fabinho meh Henderson is 33.... think about ti. Who wanted him.. again wijnaldum commanded 350k a week off psg. And so on and so on. Bellingham won't be a teenager by July 1 and he is in demand and it's 2022/23 where inflation has.made these crazy wages more common. Either compete or don't compete but don't ever expect people to take half just cos your team wears red

If you step off the 500k to 350k then you bring in all the big clubs luke juve Liverpool, bayern etc etc
