Let`s be honest, we got him because Leicester in their infinite wisdom showed they didn`t give a rats 4rse about him and let us speak to him, that rankled the man and to be honest I think it would rankle most of us. Like us all the guy just wants loyalty I guess, the problem being the large numbers of muppets who write on forums and ring RH never bloody go to games, so are forming opinions based on comments made on commentary or write ups. NP aint nobodies fool, he will have gauged general feeling from forums and talkshows, if not personally he would have been told about it. The idiotic sniping from certain quarters. I honestly believe that if the ALLAMS sit NP down and tell him they want him to stay then that`s what will happen, but the attitude of some of the so called `fans` is bound to leave a mark on the guy.
To me that response said "Burnsy, you're a ****ing idiot, you don't have a clue about the fans, or football, so **** off", which, I agree 100% with.
Wrong. Mandaric and Lee Hoos didn't give a rat's arse about him. He was loved by the players and fans and most of the backroom people. I'm sure he'd seriously consider a return now the aforementioned duo have departed.
This post somes up what I feel, some of our fans don't realise what a diamond we have as a manager right now, when he goes we will be mediocre at best, no wonder he gets pissed off reading some of the drivel posted about his interviews
Says it all. I might not just cry, I might take me out to that lonesome Spurn Point and top myself....
Are you the Spelling Policeman? No. So if you're going to quote me, I would kindly ask you to use a bit of wit and not be a bore. Thank you.
Theres no hope for us if he goes, I feel that strongly. Reminds me of when elements of our support forced out Horton in the eighties, it seems like the five percent of negative fans we have override the 95percent positive every time, its a joke, i just hope we can get a manager to give us half a chance but it won't be like that.
He's doing a great job. Things have been steadily improving for a while now. He's not a quick-fix manager, he does things properly and is thorough. If you're in any way a patient person who respects real substance over media guff you will know Pearson is the real deal. Like I say, I'll be ****ing livid if he goes. He hasn't been shown the appreciation he deserves and we simply will not attract a manager of similar ability. God knows who we'll end up with. It scares me. I desperately hope he stays.
What will happen is in a few years time we will end up with Brown again, and it won't work like the last time, which was a one-off, everything fell right for him those first few years it wouldnt happen again. Get ready for another Dolan/Hateley/Molby/Parkinson/Ternent/Gray in the shape of Megson or similar
As I have been stating, there are actually some very good managers out there at the moment. Billy Davies, Roy Keane & Dave Jones to name three with experience in the top two flights. So it's not over yet.
If they are that good m8 you frigging have them then as you have shown no loyalty to your previous manager, now ferk off and get them and leave ours alone.
Thing is if you talk to NP on a one to one basis he is actually quite a humerous and humble man... He literaly doesn't care about the media. Its fairly simple to grasp.
