I want to believe that but I'm not convinced there's any evidence of it. He's an exciting player based on his reputation so we all want him to be this explosive talent just waiting to be unleashed. But there is a reason he's not been getting any chances. Slater and Docherty on the wings definitely doesn't give us much creativity, but we've been consistently going with them ahead of Sinik so I think that must say something about him. I have to say, I agree with your observations (or was it Kalman?) about Woods. He seems to put the ball into touch an incredible amount, and I still haven't figured out what sort of midfielder he's supposed to be. He looks like he thinks he's good on the ball but I'm not sure he actually is. That said, again there will be a reason he starts every game while others are rotated in and out, so there must be something we're missing with him.
He’s just a **** Jimmy Bullard. Actually can see he can be a tidy player just seems to have lost his mojo from where he was at Brentford. I think he’s one of those players in a rut on a downward trajectory into total mediocrity, which seems to happen to a lot of once bright talents at this level.
Spot on assessment, Ernest - the area has some great motorbike roads which lead you to a lovely sea-front chippie, Oscars, same name as my youngest g'son!
I remember his spell with Glasgow Celtic well, tough big lad who gave 100% in every game he played. He met and married a young Glaswegian lass during that time and sadly lost her to breast cancer at the all too young age of 26.I'll never forget how sad he looked after that but with respect to Celtic he received a huge amount of support from the Club. I've always had a soft spot for Tony Mowbray since those hard times he endured due to his loss and agree entirely with Chazz that he seems to be a genuinely decent bloke indeed...
How come loads of games in the Championship are live on the red button? I didn't think 3 o'clocks on a Saturday were allowed. Ours doesn't appear to be, though.
I have no idea how credible this is: As usual Sky’s red button matches (which are also available on the Sky Sports app) are expected to have just single camera coverage with no replays, build-up and after-match analysis either. Goals will be shown as they go in on Sky Sports News’ Soccer Saturday show as well. The 3pm games have been shown with the agreement of the clubs involved, but it appears for Coventry v Swansea and Hull v Sunderland some of the clubs have decided not to give permission and are not available on the Sky red button. They will be available on the clubs’ own streaming service. https://footieontv.com/category/sky-red-button/
Seaview ain't bad either. Although the curry sauce is a bit dodgy. Sit in and you can have the award winning Saltburn crab brioche, whilst overlooking the pier.
Curry sauce is always dodgy with fish and chips. The only thing open to debate is the degree of dodginess.
Nice that. I heard too that he was once offered the City job. Offer came from a golf day when Mowbray was playing on a course near Hull. He actually thought he'd been offered the job there and then, forget who offered him it, but it never materialised, and he fancied it too.
Oops, my bad. Was even there not long ago, so should know! Lovely countryside inland from there (just below Middlesborough).
Another "Old School" Manager. Last time out "Old School" Ince stole the points - here's hoping for a better result tomorrow. 2-0 City
Last time I looked he was a bloke with a fairly decent size proboscis but ,as ever,I'll take your word for it
