Not sure if you or anyone ever watches impractical jokers. That’s the show where it stands out the most. 30 minute show here in the uk with 1 advert break. But clearly in USA it must be a 45-60 min show as they have fake advert breaks here where show would stop and they would almost do a 20 second recap of what’s just happened that makes no sense on uk time, but I imagine would make sense if you’ve just come back from an advert.
Quite likely, although, a lot of shows here will do a lot of recaps just to pad the run length. They can fill more airtime without having to film anything else. It's improving a little now with things going to streaming more and more, but American TV has always been about quantity produced rather than quality.
Yeah, generally TV shows on the firestick are around 20 or 40mins long (would be 30 or 60mins in Yankland)

It's irritating when they take a few lines from a song you know and then cut to the end of it. My head's still trying to fill in the rest. I also hated it when rap and such started using loops from famous songs, repeating a few bars over and over and over... I'm old, obviously.
I doubt anyone wants to see the likes of you ir ne chugging along the line pretending we are swift. God forbid what would happen if we got into Europe. Fo you watch any local teams?
