I've never seen defending like that, MacLad - when your defender headed it straight to Wright-Phillips to stick it in, initially I didn't go up for the goal until I saw everyone else go up, I just couldn't register what I was seeing.

Have to say, when Brown finally put a couple of decent players on the park, you looked way different. Tsoumou looked as if he knew what he was doing as well throughout the game, it's just that he won't come up against a pairing like Morrison and Taylor very often.

All credit to your fans, as well. It's a hell of a long trip to get clobbered like that but they kept their heads up.

What's going wrong at Preston after such a good start ? How's Phil Brown doing .. Is he picking the best 11 or have you got injury problems ? Iv got Huddersfield and Preston to both go up this season ....

The triumphalism in 2/3 posts is really irritating, it's disrespectful to other teams and their fans.

All three main forwards injured, no settled back four and a midfield that doesn't tackle apart from that it going well.

I left the ground feeling let down 5-2. Should have been at least 6 nil. Trouble is I am not around when we get 6

I agree. When we had five first choices out at home to Brentford we weren't so hot. It is not just that the replacements are not individually as good, it is the disruption to teamwork. When Preston get all their players back they will be challenging for a play-off spot. Have lost too much ground now to challenge for automatic promotion.
