With the team Sousa had, even Fergie wouldnt be able to give City a tough match.

Fact remains, Sousa was a world class player, and intelligent thoughtful man, who could read the game well.

NW is, and always will remain, a Keegan or Uncle 'Arry type manager - full of a lot of passion, emotion, but clueless at tactics.

This is great coming from Ranger77 who thinks that anyone who doesn't agree with their point of view "isn't a real fan". (See thread he started "Adel we love you".)

 

no, its because anyone who is fickle and doesnt support the team or a player when theyre not on top of their game is not a true fan

 

Of course he's a wum! Its gotta be somene off the chelsea board. He/she knows a bit about rangers but i've noticed there are certain themes already (like sousa). But if you want proof he's wum, just go on the man city or neutral boards tonight. No-one is rating our players below 5, eveyone is saying we were great.

 

You are selling Warnock far too far short. He took us over as a team that was only going to leave the Championship by going down. He dragged us away from the relegation zone. Without splashing out massive transfer fees, including the signing of Taarabt, he got us promoted with some style. He developed a style of play that not only got the best out of Taarabt, but also Faurlin, generally using journeymen players such as Derry and Hill. how many of us were impressed when he signed Derry, Hill or Mackie?

He spent last summer hamstrung by the Goons not allowing him any transfer fund. When Fernandes came to our rescue (God bless him) he had next to no time to assemble the best team he could from players that were still available. This team is only now starting to gel. There will still be bad days, but all the signs are that times are getting much, much better. Personally I fail to see what your issue really is.

 

I know from personal experience that 999 has a fascination about credentials and age. 77 opinions are probably no reflection of his age, nor his QPR knowledge. Most of us would admit that there are plenty of things about Rangers, even in the eras that we have followed them, that we don't know or can't recall. 77 doesn't have too justify his place on this forum same as anyone else. Defeat him through argument, not by trying shaming or insulting him.

 

Derry and Mackie are my two fav players after Adel, so for that I give him credit.

 

I would say yes but unfortunately I've been compared to him on another thread! Needless to say I thought it was an unfair comparison.

This lad is either a WUM or an extremely naive young man. Time will tell.

 

And my other points on Mr Warnock....

 

Adel carried him all last season. We were a one man team (apart from Mackie before he got injured).

NW is a Championship manager - he has a lot to prove in the Premiership.

 

Definitely a WUM. The "letter" addressed to AT in that other thread he started is one of the funniest things I've read on here. Long may he continue posting. As Northolt says there's always the option to ignore.

 

Our defence being virtually impregnable was clearly not down to Taarabt. Kenny, Gorkss, Connolly, Orr, Hill and Walker may just disagree with you. You are also ignoring the point that Warnock developed a formation that allowed Taarabt to go missing for long periods of matches (such as Bristol city away) without it badly affecting the team.

I'd agree he has to prove his worth in the Premier League. We owe him that opportunity, and so far I'm happy with what he has done.

 

I agree, and consider it the ultimate compliment that some Chelsea twat is going to all this trouble to get a rise out of us.
