Wondering if the old Driff army camp will also be announced shortly? The kind of thing that I guess makes sense compared to taking over hotels, but not a great prospect potentially having hundreds housed in (or at least next to) a market town. Seemed a waste that it's largely been left to 'rot' for decades now, other than a bit of use for cadets. More importantly, the root causes need sorting finally, not just the accommodation issues. Hopefully the latest government announcements / promises aren't just the latest in a long line of meaningless words.
It's been derelict for decades, it would cost more to reopen than building a new site (there's also a planning application to build 360 houses on the site).
Luxury. We could only dream of having curtains. Is anyone else addicted to looking at their energy smart meter at regular intervals?
-10 and you seriously think a string vest is the answer? It was so cold I had to wear 2 last-night...
Join a gym and use their heat, space and hot water. Simple. Oh and lose some timber into the bargain.
