Don't think he'd come, as we won't match his wages.

It's a cracking finish and made the goal himself, potential there to be good for us, very raw though.

Great goal poacher, but i'd want a 'complete' striker

Completely agree. I'd rather us buy someone young and mold them into how we want them to play though.

No. I think he's a massively **** finisher and does absolutely no work for the team

No, because he's not an upgrade over Demba.

There's no doubting his goal scoring abilities, I respect him as a player but he sems to be unable to settle at a club for any length of time, he wants to jump ship every time the wind changes direction.
No, I wouldn't want him, no club will get long term commitment from him.

One dimensional? What dimension is that? A goalscorer? Wouldn't have him because of the Sunderland aspect but he's quality, too old for us like.

Would he come, that would depend on Pardews daughter, in more ways than one

Overrated, and misses way too many sitters. It's all nonsense anyways.

Yes, a goalscorer, a good goalscorer, but what else does he offer the team. Take the Stoke game as an example, look at the work Ba and Best put in defending from the front and tracking back for the benefit of the team, would Bent do that? I'm not so sure. Does Bent create goals for himself? Can he create something out of nothing? Again, I'm not sure.

No good goalscorer but you have to base your whole system around him. Not many strings to his bow

No. Never in a million years. He's just a traveler who never settles at any club.

I'd rather give it to one of these guys:

He'd be brilliant for you for a season, but after that...?

I actually think he would suit you down to the ground. Get the ball to him and he will score and you have the midfield and wide players to do that. Trouble is that he is an absolute arse and that will come to the fore at some stage.

He gets paid £90k per week, is a dickhead and would cost a bomb.

But yeah, I would have him :)

Sid's got a point, and I agree with him! I actually think he's a good player. He gets the goals and that's his job, he's just the type of player that needs deliveries. And with players like Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Marv, Jonas in our team, then he'd thrive off deliveries.

Good player. But he's a twat, won't come, I wouldn't wanna see him in the number 9, and he'd cost a lot. No thanks.

I reckon he would come to us tbh.

But thats the reason why I wouldn't want him, because he is easily persuaded to leave his club - no loyalty!

No thanks Ba is our goalscorer and Best works a hell of a lot harder. Bent's all-round game is very poor.
