Hi, TC. Serious question: You're having a decent season, what would you prefer, promotion or a near miss in the playoffs?
Has Roland been visited by the ghosts of his long dead honour, integrity and decency, who taught the old miser the true meaning of Christmas?
We're round the U-bend already. I'd say give the job to Karen Hills - but she probably wouldn't want it.
If they want someone to stop us going down they could do worse than Kenny Jackett, ex-Millwall or no.
I have heard its at advanced stages, and involves proper Charlton people of old (more than 1, so not just PV)
I've always had a sneaking admiration for Jackett. Sadly, I think he (or any other half decent manager) wouldn't want to come to CAFC right now. We're a worse and more humiliating basket case than we were just before the £1 sale to ESI.
If Ferguson can get us out of League one (upwards) then he'd be OK with me, though I know many fans have no enthusiasm for him.
