Will Joseph be going NH some time soon? I know he struggles to do the weight for a flat jockey but he is an excellent jockey and a great judge of pace - would love to see him riding over the sticks

I just think the race might fall into Bywords hands, early speed, Goldikova produced early, and a late rattling run to nab her.

Great race! I did want Goldi to win! She has obviously lost a step! Great horse anyway!

I wonder how much ground she lost when he pulled her out for a run? Good run but yeah, didn't quite have the kick to get up

Now we have an objection, with Goldikova possibly being thrown out because of Peslier. Deary me.

Goldi <applause> went out like a champion,on her sword. Few flat horses draw me like she did, unfortunately like Zenyatta not to be :emoticon-0106-cryin

Not really sure why Peslier felt the need to do that - he arguably hit the front too soon and lost ground with the violent switch to the right

According to the Guardian's blog: 'Olivier Peslier made a rash move to look for room at the top of the straight. Pat Valenzuela had to snatch up on Courageous Cat'
