Would you fancy Mowbray to take us forward? Genuine question. I think he’s done ok. Just not convinced longer term.
We are building for the future, there's no short-term fixes here anymore, Mogga wouldn't have been employed if we were looking at removing him next summer
He is very experienced at this level and has a track record of success. He's clearly a good man manager and the majority of his former club's fans only have good things to say about him
A track record of success , one promotion with West Brom 14 years ago! Or are you referring to his 10 point deficit to Rangers. He is second rate, we have young, fresh exciting players and a old, tired failure of a manager.
Do you know most managers dont have a promotion on their cv? Parkinson had 2 and hes the worst manager in our history. We have a manager who develops young players and thats what we need. Its always the same people posting when we lose but never see them post when we win. Who would you want as the manager then
The patience of our fans lasted a whole 4 months. Now they want promotion, this season or next. Sadly, despite people saying they will settle for stability for a few years (which is exactly what Mowbray will give us), it's not true. The evidence of that is seen every time we lose even though we're in a relatively positive position in the league.
Exactly, we have so many toxic fans now unfortunately that think we should just walk every game. We have had a really good start to the season with the potential to kick on. Ive asked a few people who keep saying TM isnt the right manager to say who they want and i never get a response. We cant just keep sacking a manager, think thats only 2 defeats in the last 6 games which isnt bad. Wba are a quality side who have only struggled due to not finishing chances and are likely to finish near the playoffs this season
From last night if teams can't deal with that lad pinging in the crosses WBA will beat most teams, they have just won 4 on the bounce conceding 1! Their league position is going change quickly but we have at least one poster on the match thread complaining we have been beating by a relegation threatened team! TM not being pro-active with subs last night is concerning. It was obvious from 5 minutes into 2nd half we were struggling. But to be asking for him to be sacked is a bit much like. Teams lose!
Agree, the subs are bizarre....don't understand the thinking behind it. Inconsistency from one half to the next is more of a concern for me.I don't understand that either!
I agree with the poor subs or lack of. He needs to be more proactive with the subs and its the 1 area i feel he does struggle on
His success in this league with various teams, notably how well he did with Blackburn who *checks notes* had the youngest squad in the league and still did well with an "old, tired failure of a manager"
It looks to me that the season has shaped up in the way that back in august just about every fan expected, and said they would be happy enough with - no relegation drama, some very enjoyable wins and inevitably some take it in the chin defeats. Add to that the unpredictability of games in this league this season
