Yep - both had good away wins. Not sure what Preston were on, but the Wurzles must have a had a fresh load of carrots delivered. Let's hope we can add a 3rd good away result to those 2 - wonder what Huds has got our boys on.
WBA won’t be in any danger. Sarurdays game is a real 6 pointer. We’ve lost 4 in a row at home (I think from memory) so that’s got to end.
How the hell have such a poor side as Birmingham managed to get up to 7th after last night? This division is staggeringly average this year which doesn't say a lot about us. I also notice we're just 6 points behind Swansea and after today that should be down to three - absolutely bonkers season. God help us if that gap goes up to nine.........
Just looking at this crazy Championship table coming up the half way games. One place outside the playoffs (Brum 7th) to one place outside the relegation spots (Hull 21st) is covered by just 7 points. That's 15 clubs within a couple of games of each other either fighting for a top 6 spot or desperately trying to avoid the trap door 3. You just can't say the top 6 are away from the pack nor can you say those present bottom 3 are going down. Although I'd be happy for City to stay up at this stage, with half a season and 23 more games to go after today, anything can happen. Don't you just love the Championship!
Getting to that stage now wanting the teams below us to drop points - good result for us at Wigan tonight then
Not so sure about that - typical pessimist. It could be a bad result for us making it less likely we can catch the Blades.
I guess no matter which way you look at it, once again we are relying on other team's failures to get get good outcomes for us. Never mind. It's Christmas, I'm feeling good and I'll stay in Sparkey's positive corner until the rum wears off.
Nin - when it comes down to it, a realist is just a pessimist on antidepressants, whereas an optimist is a realist on Peroni........
