Cirkin for Embleton works two ways. Firstly a bit more width going forward. Secondly helps Alese out. Also gives you the flexibility of taking Alese off for Clarke or Roberts later if we need to
Good game that. I thought for 30 mins Dan Neil was dominant. Won tackles, blocked crosses and made positive passes. Happy to admit I am clueless though. Questioned Diallo early in the season. The boy is talent though. I would get Cirkin on mind. Their threat is all right side. Wallace is a serious player at this level. Alese getting found out for me. Gooch, on the other hand, just gets better and better. Haway me bonny lads.
I'd give Roberts a go personally. Will feel he's got a bit to prove since losing his place to Diallo.
He’s not doing much wrong in possession, it’s out of it that he’s found a bit wanting. It’s understandable tho. It’s not often, maybe ever, he will have come across and old school David Beckham style right winger like Wallace. Who just looks to cross over and over again
We are doing this thing of pushing a full back on and going 3 at the back. Very modern formation. He is unlucky in that when he does it they always pick wallace when they turn it over. Alese then looks out of play. He is a very good lad, just probably not experienced as Cirkin in reading the game.
WBA only threat as been their right side. He plays left back. They have targeted it and got their only success down there. Not only his fault but he is not having a great game.
I think he's done alright, he's up against a good player. Not like Cirkin or anyone else never gets crosses put past them.
