    3 and a half year deal seems quite long, I'd be surprised if the compensation to buy him out wasn't quite a bit more than Beale's was !

    Well, that’s his formation while getting Blackpool promoted and securing Championship spot, doubtless down to objectives and personnel available. Might be different now, his background at Liverpool would point to 4-3-3 which suits me fine.

    Don't think there is any compensation to pay for Critchley. He left Villa the day after Gerrard was sacked in October.

    No compensation on critchley, but we paid some to get the Lincoln guy Garrity ( who is also highly rated by their fans) as his no 2

    A bit of good news after a bad weekend of results (that we all saw coming) to misquote a certain singer, strictly mr critchley our league position is hell, I'd sit and watch but it corrodes my soul...welcome and good luck

    Seems the sensible choice. thought he wouldn’t be named until after today’s game.
    Have to give him our backing so he can rebuild our team confidence and spirit to get us back on track.
    NC hasn’t wasted anytime building his team, so this was clearly agreed before this weekend.

    Apparently the agreement was reached a couple of days ago but the hold up was in negotiating compensation for his backroom staff !

    I wonder if Hall ( and us all) took one for the team yesterday. Knowing this would be the hardest match, not willing to risk some of the injured players, playing some of the fringe players that will probably be off in January for Critchley to see.

    So Critchley can start with a clean slate today..with a bit more knowledge
