That is exactly what happened with my accident, even 5 seconds either side of the accident and it would not have happened, and then if it had not happened would I have met my first wife and had my children, the nights sleep I have lost going through all the different scenarios is unbelievable
I've had similar. It weren't an accident but an event which led to something which changed my life, but could so easily have not happened if it had not been for a simple innocuous decision.
It's a bit like where we sense certain events, but is that because of the same cycle of everything in life, that some events just become predictable. A bit like England always losing on penalties, a bit like Spurs never winning a trophy, a bit like Arsenal, you just know they are going to fook it up.
Looks like a weather balloon to me or maybe swamp gas if neither of them then it’s defo a Chinese lantern
I thought that It was on Eden just now but I couldn't find the actual video. Attenborough's now showing how spiders can turn protein in their gut into silk. And how scientists are using this to develop tissue replacement in humans.
If you look at the size of the universe, our planet with all of life on it, Earth, is equivalent in size to that of a grain of sand, so why do we consider ourselves at the centre of creation, assuming that we do and that we feel we are accountable to god, because surely we are in measure an irrelevance to what god has created. When our sun dies, the entire human race will die with it, but the universe will still exist in it's entire creation, minus that grain of sand. God would not need the human race to exist elsewhere by our own evolution, because if god so wished, he could create us again. Unless the universe does not exist in the way we perceive it and that its expanse is merely to test us like a computer game. Once Earth moves out of its habitual zone, no one will ever know that we even existed, yet following our beliefs, God will still be there surely.
I've thought about this before and think of it like us having a pet. Our lives are so much broader, so much more than just our pet, we don't need pets to exist... yet they're not considered an irrelevance despite all our other commitments and interests. We choose to have them. We consider them a part of our family, love them, feed them, provide for them in other ways, care for them, want the best for them. Just to be clear, I don't think we're pets to God. I think God considers us capable of so much more and able to achieve so much more. Also unlike the scenario of humans and pets, God's created us. But it helps to understand the comparison of our significance to God imo.
good job somebody is doing something because all those windmills we throw up are useless. https://news.sky.com/story/future-o...drought-with-global-stilling-to-come-12766917
Gonna call bullshit. edit: As I thought. https://news.newenergytimes.net/2022/12/11/fusion-energy-breakthrough-scam/ TL/DR, it took 400MJ of power to produce 2.5MJ
