Christmas has come early this year with the first of the "Big 4" to visit The Liberty. Fergie, Giggs, Rooney, Vidic, Nani, Evra, Ferdinand, Evans, Berbatov, Fernandez, Bobby Charlton, Young, Park etc etc All in Landore on November 19th 5.30pm **** I will never sleep
now this is a big team........i honestly think we will lose our first home game against them.......far to big for us to cope with......0-2 away win,
Giggs has already played at The Liberty - for Wales. Only 5000 turned up to see the most decorated Welsh footballer of all time.
If you got extra money & you get good odds , put it on us .In there last 4 games United were crap against Liverpool , overran by Everton , mancityhandled & got an own goal victory against Sunderland . 2 - 0 clean sheet should do er !!
I think it was! Giggs and Bellamy played - Wales top 2 footballers at the time and the crowd was a shocker. On walking to the match I passed Cwm Level and there was a training session taking place for Under 8's or 9's - The Club should have taken them all down the Liberty to see Giggs in action. It was only a fiver for kids!
Anything we got from these 2 games was going to be a bonus. We got one today so if we can double it against Man U i'd be more than happy
After that terrific result yesterday, this is going to be the one where we find out how we are going to do this season. I don`t think we`ll beat them, but you never know, stranger things have happened. They are one of the top two teams playing this league. A point gained yesterday, anything from this game will be a huge bonus, a win will be enormous for our confidence going forward into the winter months.
I'm going to 'buck' the trend and say we'll win. United aren't playing well at all despite their lofty position and we're even better at home than we were yesterday. 2-1. The first 'shock result' of the season.
For me, and I hope to god I get a ticket, seeing Man Utd run out at the Liberty flicks the switch in my brain that says "we've made it". I'm 25, so my entire life Alex Ferguson has been in charge at Manyoo and Man Utd winning coincides with pretty much my first memories of football (92/93ish I guess, maybe a few games from the season before). Giggs as well, he's been a top player my whole conscious life, so I hope he gets some minutes. They've been the dominant force every season I can remember, despite missing out on a few leagues here and there they're undoubtedly the biggest team in Britain. I simply can't wait. "Who've we got next?" "Man Utd at home" "How the **** did that happen?!" I love Mel Nurse, Huw Jenkins, and everyone else involved in the rescue and subsequent rise of Swansea City FC.
