I'd say an 8 AM inspection won't give us much more information unless they check again around 10, I'll be surprised if Cork gets the go ahead but would be glad if it got the go ahead.
Racing on grass in Cork and Southwell but not on Newcastle’s all weather. I’d assumed it would be the reverse. Back to the drawing board
Biggest disappointment for me today, re the 3 abandoned meets, is that we've lost a Pertemps Qualifier (Carlisle).
Is Paul Townend really having a day off today after Punchestown was called off? The racing websites still have Sean O'Keeffe riding Energumene
Southwell must have its own micro climate. In the bumper there today I quite like JANWORTH (12/1) who has a nice pedigree and is ridden by the best bumper jockey in the business.
True that - although I also thought the same about the Hatton's Grace Hurdle Energumene has looked a total freak thus far though - worth the entrance money alone
Why do they have the bumper in the middle of the card? Means they have to put all the hurdles in after the race. I was always a Clint Eastwood fan so it has to be Coogan's Bluff for me
My Racing TV streaming site has been impounded by Homeland Security - if anyone has a working link I would very much appreciate a PM. Thanks
Southwell 12,53 Simon The Great 15/2 e/w WH two places, sky 13/2 three places Cork Small bet 15,20 Moon Eagle 28/1 e/w bet365 and sky six places (A Cheap Thrill last night 20/1, now 13/8)
I'll take a chance with Borderline in the Bumper at Southwell (13:23) 7/1 best price (Ladbrokes/Coral) at time of writing.
Aha so they don't have separate chase and hurdle tracks? Interesting, I never knew that. So are the fences and hurdles on wheels and they just wheel them in and out?
I managed to get a stream. That was impressive by Arctic Bresil - looks a Ballymore type and readily accounted for the Mullins hot pot Quotes between 10/1 () and 25/1 for the Ballymore
