Yes there is/are fundamentalist athiests Let me explain, there are people who call themselves athiest. Yet they are anti god. so NOT athiest. why are they NOT athiest? because by definition athiests dont believe in god. Yet these people are infatuated with the concept Its like the nation of Islam calling themselves muslim, by definition they are NOT as an important pillar is that Muhammad was the fimnal messenger. so elijah can NEVER be a prophet
as you may know, I dont accept that there are any 'Islamic' countries today I just think its weird that the association is with Islam yet the 1 scrpture that clearly condones it is the bible
The only christian country where it exists is Nigeria, but it happens in the muslim controlled northern areas of the country.
1 - Not really. They're just ignored, more than anything. 2 - Because they'd believe in stoning disobedient kids to death, for a start. Do you agree with that practice? I don't do the same myself and you've shown absolutely no examples of me doing so. I'm anti-lunatic. That just happens to include a lot of religious practices. No. You're just plainly wrong. You're making claims for people that you can't back up. What's to say that your version of Islam is correct and the Nation of Islam's is wrong? You could apply the same to Sunni or Shia Islam, too. For the record, I think that the Nation of Islam are one of the more bizarre sects around, but that doesn't automatically make them wrong.
There are countries that are predominantly Christian, like this one or the US. The same thinking would apply here. It's hard to argue that a country like Iran, for example, isn't Islamic, even if you don't believe that they follow the Sharia correctly. The majority of the populace and leaders are Muslims.
As of September 2010, stoning is a punishment that is included in the laws in seven countries including Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Sudan, Iran, Yemen, the United Arab Emirates, and some states in Nigeria. What these countries are not Islamic states, I beg of you please reconsider your statement. They base their entire system on your Sharia law but cannot be considered "Islamic".
I am basing this o their beliefs as well as my own, rather than just my own. They take the quran to be the word of Allah, yet disobey 1 of its fundamental principles. Its like a vegetarian eating only veggies and beef The shia question is even more clear cut, they actually believe that Allah sent Jibril (gabriel) to the wrong house (although there is 1 sect that no longer believes that particular bit I underrstand) yet also believe Allah doesnt make mistakes etc the concept of Sunni is a little more complicated as in it shouldnt exist in the current way. Sunni's believe they follow the sunnah (path/way etc) of the prophet yet are into madhabs (schools of thought) and follow that/them Its that simple tbh.
The shia in Iran dont condone stoning due to Islam, its on a seperate set of books. and my understanding is that In 2002, the Head of the Judiciary of Iran, Ayatollah Shahroudi, mandated that stoning would no longer be practiced in Iran. However the penal code wasnt changed so some judges do still use it Th epopulace in some of these countries is indeed muslim. Yet the leaders and the constitutions are not. IMO thats what makes a law or country religious or not
Well the other one is Huth so I don't know I should cancel my association with him, there was a time when I thought his posts were funny, but he goes off at a tangent sometimes.
