    Tough to call, I hope Garth keeps the same formation as Senegal, though maybe will start with a back 3 and change to a 4 if necessary. At least has the options to change system if needs be. Have a feeling we might just edge it.

    I think France will win it. It would be great for the country if England could progress but they’ve yet to play anybody of any actual quality (save for the USA, and that was 0-0), so I’m going 2-1 France.

    If England can keep the attacking line quiet, they have a chance. Saka and Foden might be able to pull something off if they play positive, but England sit in, France will just pick them off.

    Give 'em hell boys! My heart's ruling my head on this. The dosh is on an England win. Expect extra time.

    Bet365 offering 12/1 for an England win in extra time. 80/1 for Eng to win 4-2!

    "I recall is being stirred up by comments Lilian Thuram had made and thinking, ‘If I get the chance I’ll leave one on him’ — which I did. With VAR, it’s difficult to do that kind of thing now" - Wayne Rooney.

    Depends which England turn up, if it's the cautious defensive one we will lose 2-0 or 2-1, if it's the attacking one and get at them from the start we will win but it could be high scoring from both sides maybe 4-3

    From this day to the ending of the world,
    But we in it shall be remember’d;
    We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
    For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
    Shall be my brother; be he ne’er so vile,
    This day shall gentle his condition:
    And gentlemen in England now a-bed
    Shall think themselves accursed they were not here,
    And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
    That fought with us upon Saint Crispin’s day.

    First two quarter finals were games of two halves, extra time & penalty shoot-outs. Strap yourself in.

    Plenty of Brits held out at Dunkirk and ended up in captivity for 6 years.

    If England lose we will be crap, with a useless manager, overpaid overrated players… If we win it will because we got lucky, France had an off night, Pogba was missing etc, etc….

    I just can’t see France not winning, whether it’s in 90 minutes or extra time. I think unfortunately Mbappe will have a good game & his pace will rip our defence apart.
    At the other end, I think we’ll be too cautious & fanny about, not getting enough shots off.
