Groups are less convenient for that purpose though - if it's on the main forum it is easy to see a new post whereas every time I check the group there are no new posts so I get out of the habit of checking it - and also the forums are open to everyone not just group members.
I can't help but feel your decision to resign as a moderator is a bit rash though - we all get pissed off with the binners from time to time, not least for me when they where calling Tierney a cheat, but you've said that there is stuff we are ignorant about which may of offended us but you've protected us from, and is that not indicative of you doing your job as a moderator well that we don't know this stuff happened? I appreciate being a moderator is a thankless task, but at the same time remember on BBC 606 when your thread would be pulled for the mere mention of Marlon King?
DM - not least for me when they where calling Tierney a cheat That is where it all started - Yorkie and his famous 4! We have fought to avoid a repetition of that but it seems a lot of people want to take the piss all the time or at least a lot of it with very, very little content other than slagging each other off. If that is what people want then I am better off out of it, it's not for me. No doubt Yorkie & Guru will be spunking in their pants following this and tbh - I don't give a flying

So, if we just had a banter thread, he could of posted it on there, and if he had posted it then it could just be deleted (Rather than merged) as it would be clear that would be fate of all WUM posts outside of the banter thread.
Like I said, perhaps the next mod (or Dave, if he continues) could take that on board BUT there is still the problem with cross board threads such as this one was.

I would not expect anyone to take the piss in the pub unless I knew them (or they were looking for a fight) and I certainly would not do it unless I knew the person I was saying it to and knew he could accept it for what it was. I see no reason why it should be any different on here tbh - oh yeah, it's an Internet forum, you can do anything you like on one of those can't you because there is no responsibility attached or consequences to such actions

Seriously, when did it become so strict on here Dave. I just pointed out that Thai has done the same on the colu board. Would you disagree? In all fairness I think you and Thai do a good job and Im barely on the Norwich board - when I do I dont swear, or insult anybody/hurl abuse out so stop making me out to be some horrific poster when Im clearly not. Rival teams wind each other up when stuff goes against their team, its fun and what makes football interesting.
What you referred to was not out of order, if you were on here often enough, you would know that Colu_Mike has legendry status on our board, he's been our lucky charm for over two years! When you first joined this site, I had high hopes that you were turning into a decent poster, but as soon as you had one of your silly, smiley threads closed you reverted to type and then disappeared for months!
