    Cuppa soup reminded me of Pot Noodles for some reason. A couple of weeks ago I got myself one out of nostalgia more than anything else. I didn't know they still made them. What a mistake that was. I don't know how I ever managed to get one down all those years ago when it was a cheap, warm meal.

    Tbh I think it's definitely a drink. It's not even the consistency of regular soup. Holding up a cup and trying to use a spoon sounds more trouble than it's worth.

    I drink it but if someone asked me what I wanted to drink I wouldn't say cuppa soup, is class it as something to eat like regular soup.

    It's obviously called cup of soup coz you make it in and drink it out of a cup,who the hell would spoon soup out of a cup?baffling.Spoon in a cup will lead to 'in goes yer eye out'!:biggrin:
