So, so, so proud, outplaying possibly the 2nd best team in the world (on paper) is no mean feat at all. Brilliant atmosphere too
You know what? You QPR fans on here are a credit to football. Kudos to you all. As a City fan, that was the most uncomfortable game I've seen us play this season. Didn't enjoy it at all. And hand on heart - QPR, for all their endeavour, deserved something out of that game. But I really do have to say again - reading the comments by the QPR fans on here - utmost respect goes out to you.
Cheers mate, and thanks to Father Jack and the rest of the City fans on the thread, good luck for the rest of the season, and if you win the league by a point remember tonight!
good man, your fans were probably the best to come to Loftus Rd this season too, and sorry we nicked 'your' poznan
Just back. What a game! What an atmosphere! Great performance and a real shame we didn't get the point we richly deserved. Our best performance of the season imo. God, if only HH's header had gone in near the end instead of hitting the woodwork!! Expected the City fans to be a bit louder if I'm honest!! Still, good luck to City for the rest of the season....hope you win the league!!
Queens Park Rangers 2 Manchester City 3: match report - Telegraph Loftus Road was packed to the rafters and the home fans in good voice from the start, reminding us what an atmospheric stadium this was in the early years of the Premier League, when QPR could claim to be one of London's leading sides........................................http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...Rangers-2-Manchester-City-3-match-report.html
EDIN DZEKO reckons QPR gave Manchester City their toughest test this season. The league leaders have only dropped points at Fulham in September's 2-2 draw. But hitman Dzeko, who netted his 10th goal of the season in the 3-2 win at Lofus Road, says Neil Warnock's men gave City their biggest fright. He said: "It was very tough but at the end we can be happy. "I must say, they are the best team we have played against this season and I want to pay compliments to Queens Park Rangers..........................................http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...tml?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitterfeed

Warnock: Jay Bothroyd reminds me of you, Stan http://www.talksport.co.uk/radio/ca...1-05/warnock-jay-bothroyd-reminds-me-you-stan
Can only say well done QPR,first team to really stop us playing- Warnock tactically spot on. 3-3 would've been fair, was very tense and enthralling like an old fashioned cup game, the atmosphere was electric at times
We'll play worse than that and win. Tonight Man.City showed what it takes to win the Prem. All our fans and players put in a good a good shift, and ironically it is against us that they will lift the 'Premiership Trophy' on the last day of the season. Let's just hope that we don't need a result at the City of Manchester Stadium on the final day of the season.
Outstanding and I have to say Barton's engine is beginning to fire he knows he is at something special ... Nice to also see the team so well without Taarabt we showed signs of real quality tonight so proud to be QPR 8th come on Mackie get in there you were very good SWP was outstanding But Faurlin outstanding and the best player on the night most agreed Let's get at Stoke because we deserve points now We held the ball great today great composure
Great words my brother from another mother.... We shall move on and be strong. We shall fear no-one. We will stay and grow, no-one will want to come to Loftus Road. This is what we've wanted for fifteen long years, don't let it pass you by, never ever, ever give up!
Never been so happy walking away from a defeat, outstanding effort from the players. Unlucky not to walk away with something agianst the best team in the premiship at the moment. Lets hope we take this forward into the rest of the season, brillant
As Ripley said "You QPR fans on here are a credit to football. Kudos to you all" its a pity all mach-day threads cannot be like this one. I said in mu OP i was not looking forward to the game as i knew it was going to be our biggest challenge since the united game and i was right, you were brilliant and deserved a point (you may think all three) and i would not have had anything to complain about if you had got a draw. Good luck to you for the rest of the season though i dont think you will need any luck, why the feck did RM let Sean go. Made me laugh - "your team gave City a battering today" Warnock - "no we Played some good football" http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rc...qKmEBQ&usg=AFQjCNGWntl_-pcTT2hk_VonZa2IjzODlQ
