Thought Hendo and Bellingham along with Kane and Foden were the stand out performers of the Evening but the tempo for the change in approach ie going more direct came from our keeper who started a more direct approach (not sure if that instruction came from the manager) and his distribution for a keeper is up their with the best. I personally have been a Critic of Southgate as I think he can be too defensive as was displayed in the Euro final but I hope he gets it right against France and allows Foden And Bellingham the opportunities to attack the French back line as this may just be the key to unlocking France. Let's not worry about Mbappe (he is very good but so are Bellinham and Foden and Kane and Saka) let France worry about our team and the pace and skill we have the strength in depth of attacking talent in our fwd/mid is as good as any team in the world cup so let's concentrate on our strength .
Teams that win things do so by playing their own game. Playing on the front foot doesn't mean everyone piling forwards gung ho all night. It means more aggression all over the pitch, more movement and an emphasis on looking forwards rather than sideways or backwards. If we go out looking just to contain France and hoping we get lucky at the other end once we'll fail. Make the win happen, don't wait for it to happen.

Worst performance at a shoot out ever, side footing arses. Keep doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome. Very poor.
