    Bad example given their worldwide profile, but until the Glazers took over, Man Utd were in the black every year as a PLC.

    The thing is though, that running a club as a self sustaining entity is how all clubs should be ran, and once how they all were, more or less. You did well you had more money through bigger crowds , vice versa and so on.

    TV cash, billionaire's cash, and now nation state's cash has corrupted the game to such an extent that is more like some bloated show business than sport.

    If he was out of contract in the summer there’s a plausible scenario where Olympiakos sign him on a pre contract in January and then when he joins in July they immediately loan or sell him to Forest.

    Only he isn’t out of contract as we have an option on him for a further year so we have a good standing on any potential transfer should we want to cash in or decide to keep him . As it stands he can’t sign a pre contract !!!

    exactly. So I can see that entire leak being built around a false assumption that he’s available to precontract in Jan when he won’t be
