Agreed, but whatever happens you cab take heart from this performance (and that Wigan, Blackburn and Bolton are determined not to let us get relegated). Good luck guys, I'm rooting for you still!
Thanks Dangerous - a gutsy performance by our team against probably the best team in the league - we can hold our heads high after this one, and I think we're still capable of getting a draw out of this one if we can keep it tight at the back!

Well, for the first time I really feel we belong in this division. Deserved a draw against a truly awesome team, but more importantly proper performance for 90 minutes. 56% possession! Faurlin born for this level, HH outstanding, Barton an engine. CBs a little short against 2 of the best strikers in the world and a giant. No complaints and a lot of pride. We have found a robust formation and real spirit. You Rssss!

Three points from Chelsea/Spurs/Man C ... I would have been well happy if I had been offered that in advance
Great performance. Barton really stepped up which is nice to see but they all played very well and on another day would have nicked a point. Not many teams will score twice against that lot and to hit the post twice shows it just wasn't our day. It's certainly encouraging ahead of two very important games.
All we need is a quality defender and a clinical finisher. Bassong / Ridgewell and Defoe. £10m sorted. Really proud tonight and if Bothroyd or HH had converted either of their two clear cut chances we would have taken a good point. I hope NW sees today's formation and realises how strong it is. Adel?
Excellent performance by all the team today. Thought Faurlin was exceptional. Felt we deserved something from the match but when you come up against players like Man City have, even small mistakes will get heavily punished.
In fairness i thought Dzeko was fantastic. For a big man his movement and touch is superb. He put in a world class performance tonight.
That was a champion's performance from City. They dug deep after being away in Europe midweek and scored three superb goals. Silva didn't have his best game but you can see just from the goal what a player he is.
When I watch it again I will be impressed by city's players but when I watch it live i watch it in blinkers ... everytime an opposition player touches one of ours its a foul, but everytime we challenge one of theirs (ok Bartons challenge on Silva excepted!!) we should get the benefit of the doubt! Its the hooped glasses I wear!
Can't really believe I am so happy after a defeat. We have come through these 3 games in great shape - a win and the last game and a half of great performance and spirit against 3 of the this seasons top 5 ( unless the scum really do collapse). We must take this into the next few games and get the points on the board. Feeling good! .....and good luck to City, great players, top class manager, score goals, brilliant fans. Hope they go all the way.
