Hopefully I'll be getting it soon. I never had the first one but I've completed the second one (be warned last level is a bitch) and it was amazing. A lot of reviews have said number 3 is even better so it must be pretty damn good. It'll have to be bloody good if it wants to dislodge me playing FIFA 12.
What do you guys think Saylor's standing and sliding tackle ratings should be on Fifa? I think Colo's tackling is more precise than Saylor's, however I think I saw an article posted on here which showed Saylor had won 94% of his tackles so far? At the moment I have Saylor's tackling ratings down as 76 stand tackling and 75 for slide tackling. Even though he sometimes puts in stupid challenges, his tackling is most of the time pretty good. His default stand tackling rating is 81, which i thought at the time i was editing the stats, was a bit too high. What do you all think? Perhaps my ratings are a bit low?
For Colo I've got stand tackle 83, and slide tackle 76. His sliding tackles are good but not that great, but the tackles he makes when he's on his feet are so quick and precise. He hardly ever gives me the feeling that he'd give away a pen.
His slides are better than that, just look at a few that he put in today. Know what you mean about the pens though, hopefully it doesn't jinx him...
I agree, I think I've changed to 78 or something. I think i should put Saylor's tackling ratings up a bit, I think I've been a bit harsh when editing his stats to be honest, although his overall rating after my edits is 78 which seems about right to me. Still overall ratings aren't everything.
What have you got him for finishing? I find it annoying that without high finishing (despite having a great heading rating), he can't score from corners as his 'finishing' isn't accurate enough.
Well his finishing with his feet shouldn't be too high because he doesn't score that often with his feet. I don't think I've made it higher than 60 to be honest, which means he has the ability to stick the ball into the net but it's not like he'd pull off a difficult finish. His heading accuracy I think I've put 81 which is what the default Fifa rating was. Btw on Fifa are Interceptions and blocks classed as the same thing? There's no stat for "blocks" on Fifa, just interceptions, which is how good they at reading the game and stopping the ball. Saylor and Colo are both good at it. Saylor's blocks have saved us so many points, and Colo's intelligence to intercept a ball coming into the box has also helped us greatly. I think Interceptions and blocks on Fifa are pretty much the same thing aren't they?
You'd think so, but putting him too high would be a bit silly. Putting him in the high 80's or low 90's would make him too good, and I prefer to have our team below the top teams in terms of quality, because i like the challenge i get when i play with us against 5 star teams. I don't like playing with highly rated teams, It's too easy. Kompany's tackling is 87 and 88, and I don't think Colo is only the same level as him. 83 for stand tackling seems about right for Colo for me, perhaps 84/85 max. Funny thing that happened today. I played a guy, I beat him 3-1 with Newcastle, he was using Munich. He said i only won because of my edits, so I picked Everton and raped him 4-1.... ... and he blocked me!
Anybody else finding Santon so **** on fifa? I might sell him on Career Mode, I've already brought Pieters on the left back and he's developing immensely but Santon is ****!!
When I play Santon at right back, he's average defensively but immense going forward! At left back, he's just generally ****.
