Clarke was quiet today, just didn't come off for him. Lovely have the other options in Diallo, Pritchard, Simms to cause other teams problems.

Back 4 looked very solid. Baath is Mr consistency, just does his job, wins headers and a proper centre half.

Evans and Neil didn't stand out, but did the dirty work and Embo when he came on gave us fresh legs and another option.

Simms is a very clever footballer, some of his runs go unnoticed but free up space for others and he put a solid shift in up front on his own

They launched a load of balls into our box but though the defence managed the game well second half. Alese had an excellent game. Hung out to dry a bit first half didn't really know if he was centre half or left back. But second half he won everything. Would like to see him and Baath in the middle with Cirkin left back and maybe a fit Huggins at right back. If we can get a settled defence will make a big difference. Just realised we have Ballard coming back as well. Nice problem for TM to have.

Hope you get well soon mate. Take care.

Millwall were good at what they did, but didn't have any other options in their style of play. Big, strong and physical but no real technical ayers imo. We stood up to them very well.

you could see his frustration today though when he came on - tried way too hard to prove he is the most gifted player in the league

Handy Neil was on the back post to clear that header

Good summary although I will admit I was surprised with the substitutions when they were made. Not grumbling now but might have grunted at the time!!

I thought we came out of that with a lot of credit. Baath and Onien stood up to a lot of physical stuff. When we got possession we looked dangerous I thought. One or two poor first half but massively improved second half. It was really poor from Neil first half but he dug im second half and him and Evans gave us real cover.

Looking upwards now. A real chance, in January, for the club to push fora couple of extra men to really make us a threat.

Was at the opposite end of the ground to us so couldn't work out who had cleared the header

We looked far better 2nd half when we went to a back 4. Using Clarke as a wing back just doesn’t work

Had to withstand an early bombardment of free kicks into the box. After that not too bad took over possession. Although lucky to escape Patterson's howler.

Pritchard had his best game for ages, not sure why he was taken off. Baath immense and Amad gets a mention.

Roberts just falls further down the pecking line.

    Wonderful 3 points.

    Loved it

Aye Clarke had a frustrating day but he still put the effort in. That's what I loved about today, every one of them put a real shift in.
