I thought the ref was awful but once he got a grip of there fouling and showed the 3 yellow cards it helped us settle into the game also Mowbray must of gave a canny half time talk, hopefully onwards and upwards

We are now 5th in the “last 5 games” from table.

Our first home win against a side that wasn’t in league one last season, which is another monkey off the back!

great result either side of the World Cup break will do is wonders. Difference between 16th and 10th following winning our game in hand is such a good boost before the season “properly” resuming

Think the commentators got in right early on when they said we seemed put off by their record from dead ball situations and it took us till the second half to get a grip.
Something the manager said to them at HT perhaps?
Wasn't pretty but we showed the real quality with the ball, Millwall reminded me a bit of Birmingham, lots of big lads and pressure, but we coped well considering the size difference.
Augers well for a busy December ahead of us, my only real disappointment was not seeing LND on the bench, but three massive points. OaU.

“Patrick Roberts is the most talented player in the league but unfortunately not the club” :D

Enjoyed that in the end Took us an age to get going but they were an awful dirty team. Ref allowed them to get away with it wary on. Credit to TM seemed to tweak it at half time to get us on the front foot We weren’t completely at it today but some of our play is a joy to watch and Amad is something special

Just back from the match, dodgy 1st 20 mins but I thought we controlled possession brilliantly after that. We looked shaky at set pieces but Millwall will do that to everyone in this league, their delivery and height makes them dangerous. Great to get a win at home and hopefully this is an upturn in our home form. Great result, another 3 points next week and the lads will be full of confidence.

My Dad said that first half. Really well organised and lots of big physical bastards. They were very very good at the niggling fouls and then falling over and winning fouls themselves. You can see why they're hard to beat generally but lacked quality today.

He will have to improve on current form , to help his manager out on that one.

This team can go up, keep Ross add a couple maybe a goalkeeper, but this is our best team in 5 years.

Just checked the league and apart from top two, our GD + is only matched by two others in top 5.
Like you say early days but clean sheets and a goal or three are massive in such a tight league.

I don't think he put the same amount of effort in as Amad today when he came on. If he wants to start games that needs to be stepped up

Interesting one Roberts. Fantastic talent but seems to need a run in the team to build his form up. Not sure he will get that at the minute.
