Its a long time since any Scottish team has had a convincing win in Europe against a top team from one of the top leagues. We should be proud of our vastly under strength team, almost a second 11. Some of the displays were awesome, particularly Beram, Victor, Sammy and Stokes. I am afraid some Celtic fans did not measure up on the night or since the match either. I was told after the second goal went in "by a Celtic fan" that he was hoping Stokes wouldn't score as that Fu..er had headed the ball on. Is it any wonder with that attitude we are trailing in the league. I have never read as little praise, as after Thursday's fine win. I know we want to be a lot closer in the league. I am sure all the players do too. Sometimes it is not so easy, and I know some games this season we were rank, but as always teams raise their game against us. What is noticeable the same teams, at the end of last season and this season, have dropped their standards whilst playing Rangers. Tomorrow, M'well will come out flying for one of their three most important games of the season. A wee red headed bast... fighting for his managerial career. I am writing of course about that cu.. McCall. His team lies down against them, yet he believes it is only a matter of time to he is moved into bigoted ipox; and so he getes his team geared up to play Celtic and prepared to do what it takes to get a result. Lets hope that the referee doesn't decide to help them as well. Poor old Stereo, we do have to feel sorry for him, he thinks, that I think, all the Scottish referees are against Celtic, nothing could be further from the truth. In fact I will categorically state that some Scottish referees are impartial and try to do their best.
sh - I'm with you all the way! I know you appear to have annoyed a few people on this forum (particularly Rangers fans) and I don't understand why a number of Celtic fans give credence and encouragement to most of the Rangers fans who constantly pollute this board, whilst taking umbrage with you. I also don't agree with the personal insults - an obvious, easy way out of proper debate when devoid of ideas. Whilst I don't concur with all you write, by any means, I enjoy your posts and respect your right to express your opinions - serious or humorous... or both... and I would much rather read them than the garbage posted by some of the Rangers fans on here! Superhoops is the best poster on here , I enjoy his banter , I will be at Motherwell as per usual , in all my time of watching us , there is only two players I've disliked , Jim Melrose and Brian Whittaker . The Celtic fans who dislike Samaras should get in the real world , he is actually a very good player
I'd take my hat off to you hh67 - if I had one! A true fan who attends all the games - home and away. From my distant abode I'll have to content myself with watching the game on the Internet. In any case lets hope we can turn Motherwell over in style and start a comeback to put Rangers under some pressure (although, have to give them due credit -they are churning out the results....so far!) By the way, what are the chances Celtic fans can reclaim this board and stop pandering to the Rangers fans who seem to be dominating it at the moment?

Anyway I'm always going to be myself first and a Celtic fan second I'm not going to blindly tow the party line and support everything Celtic do like you superhoops that's not a true fan that's a moron incapable of independent thought. I'm happy for Sammy to prove us wrong and become a great player for us but make no apologies for doubting it and saying so. As for teams lying down, that's nonsense do you think if a manager said to players "right, don't try too hard today lads I want us to get beat" they would accept that?
Tom/cat, if I was stupid I might believe you. I have a serious problem, even the low life bear bigots take great delight in pointing out to us that this is one of the worse Rangers' team in living memory. Who am I to disagree. If Rangers are so woeful how did they win the last four matches last season by cricket scores and are still unbeaten in the SPL the month of November. Maybe you would like to recall how they performed against two poor teams in Europe with impartial referees. Tom/cat I am sure S.T. can answer for himself re Sammy. (Well he won't want to) but why should you be ST. poster. I would be one of the first to admit that Celtic have played badly this season and probably deserve only 3-4 points more than they have. I just cannot believe Rangers should have their total. Stereo, is a fantastic moderator, he allows Ranger fans to post their bile without hindrance, however he takes great delight in picking out phases and comments I have made to try to boost his personal ego and to destroy me.
