Belgium need to get rid of their old, past it players. Bring in the likes of Lavia, give Doku, De Ketelaere more game time. They'll be very good at the next World Cup IMO. They've got some great talent which they need to utlilise.
I wasn't far away with Argentina either TBF - If either Mexico or Poland had showed a modicum of ambition against them it could have been a different story there. England proved me wrong I'm delighted to say.
Although every other prediction in there was wrong haha. I didn't fancy Belgium either tbh - they are clinging on to the golden generation by playing players like Hazard, Vertonghen, Alderweireld, Witzel and Mertens. How Lavia didn't make their squad is beyond me.

I don't think be is the answer. But he is certainly part of the solution. Watching the Belgium games and the lack of energy is evident. They have put a squad together based on their names, not their current ability or form. They picked Witzel as a CM over Lavia. Witzel doesn't have the legs for a CM so has been playing CB for his club. Their CBs combined age is 68, both good players in their day but now they are playing in the Belgian league.
Spain look so much better with a proper striker. Morata has improved things when he has come on so far, glad he’s got a start.
From one angle it definitely looked out. But I don't think we ever saw an angle which was directly down the line - and without that, it's difficult to say.
This has happened a couple of times in this tournament. Surely it would only take a couple of extra cameras to extend the GLT as far as the corner flags?
