Nigels interview on humberside just now, what a complete knob! no need to react like that. he can sod off if thats his attitude
Very spikey, not wanting to speak personally about Leicester interest, but re-iterates if media want to know what`s going on they should speak with club, wasn`t aware of any approach made or impending, but again refuses to speak about link with Leicester. Usual mardy self following a defeat, and typical yorkshireman, won`t give anything away.
Nigel's sort of like that girlfriend that's being unfaithful to you. You question her about it and she gets all defensive and doesn't want to talk about it. You keep asking because you know something, and she doesn't deny it, just evades the question and stalks off. Then she breaks up with you and won't return your calls. Because she was wrong and she knows she was wrong. I get that it's his style and all, and that's fine. But I sort of gather that he cares for the supporters of the club about as much as he cares for the media.
Sat on coach on way home from game Nigel said it's the clubs place to comment on any approach not his.. That he's more interested in getting back to the dressing room...he said fook all as usual ... It's just NP's way.. Everyone on the coach laughed at Nigel Pearsons response .....he is going nowhere ....
There will be no tears in this neck of the woods if he goes back to Leicester .....................He never really comes across as INSPIRATIONAL and his best attributes imho are his backroom boys who find promising youngsters.I can't see him ever being top management class he doesn't have that magic about him. To lose him at this time however would certainly be disruptive to the team as a whole and I fear his replacement would not be any sort of improvement considering the lack of quality in the market place who would consider a spell at Hull.
I though he's response about the city fans was a bit ****ty myself. he said something along the lines of just wanting to get the media done, so he can get back to be people he cares about (family? players?) to which Burnsey responded "the fans care about you, and want to know if you want to stay." Pearson gave a dismissive "Oh that's right, is it?" I don't want him to go, he's a quality manager, but you should show the club and fans who turn up to see you week in, week out some f**king respect. Poor show in my book.
Empty vessels make the loudest noise. Even on the HDM site - it's a triumvirate of knobheads who would argue black was grey if you said it was white. He can't think that's a majority surely.
Reading most of the posts on here i would react exactly the same way if i was Nigel Pearson. Most of you on here come across as having a larger balance of female hormones and i suspect you wet your knickers and even start boo-hoo ing because nasty Nigel wont acknowledge your fanatical love for him. His job is to open his heart out to the media and tell all his adoring fans he loves us all and wants us to stay. Nice one Nigel. Stick two fingers up to the media and those questioning fans. Keep up doing the hard work that matters on and off the pitch and ignore the stupid humberside texters /callers and posters on the forums stuck in Football Manger Land.
