    You really can’t pin any blame on the players who got you there. They’ve done more than any over the last 50 years and deserve respect, it’s not their fault it’s another step up they just can’t make. As cling said, it’s time to develop the next generation to take you on.
    Btw, Rob Page ( ex Cov man) is a decent bloke and manager.

    I see a clip of some football English & Welsh tourists on the beer all day throwing punches and chairs at the each other in Tenerife has gone viral.

    Wonder if there’ll be more of the same on Tuesday night<whistle>

    In Tenerife or Qatar? If the latter I think the local plod will deal with things a lot more firmly.

    The Spanish police appeared to do........nothing.

    You're right but we took a squad with quite a few nowhere near match fit. But as I've said before, we were right to do so and showed loyalty to those that got us there.

    Second and third were poor goals to concede. Defensive errors from Davies and Roberts.

    Ah well, been a good journey.

    Bale, Ramsey, Allen and Hennesey to retire internationally. Some big boots to fill. Hope we have the guys coming through to do it.

    Can't argue with the result but rather annoying that the opener comes from a blatant dive by Foden.

    In fact their players were going down easier than cheap prostitutes for the bulk of the game but hey ho....

    On to the next qualifying campaign.
