Been some very one-sided games and some 0-0s that didn't look like there'd be a goal if they played for a week but other than that quite entertaining.
The Belgium-Morocco game was great, and I enjoyed the Wales-Iran game the other day (not the best quality, but it was entertaining enough). I've not got anywhere near as much interest in this tournament as I do most of them, though.
Still not over it being played in winter tbh Watching England get beat on pens while sitting in a beer garden on a scorching day with a cold pint is tradition, this year won't be the same.
Just shove the electric fire on full blast (beers meanwhile chilling in the fridge), put a sleeping blanket round you and the rest will take it's usual course. Then enjoy the media meltdown Hey presto, summer revisited.
What a cracking game. Think a draw was a fair result. Spain and Germany played some smashing free flowing football in that second half. Reminded me of the USSR and Belgium going at it hammer and tong in 1986
*just pour a bucket of water over yourself and sit in the fridge to recreate that scotch scorching summer's day sensation.
Speaking of golf, I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but this is an extremely interesting dissection of the complexities of the game. Very well presented and highly informative.
I didn't watch it, I was doing a bit of work, but yeah seemingly both games today have been good so far.
Could do with Aggers on the commentary team: Ronaldo never touched that, I called it right and Aggers would have too. No sound, no deviation and nothing showing on Hot Spot. Not out.
I reckon the Iran v USA match will be a better watch than England v Wales. Could be a bit of simmering tension.
