England were poor in their 0-0 draw against the United States and will look to bounce back

I've predicted an England 3-0 win, by the way I have not earned a point in the prediction game yet, so over to you.....

With the players at our disposal, if we lose to Wales, we deserve to come home and Southgate sacked.. IMO..
But I believe that we will see sense, start Foden and win comfortably

They took the wrong approach against USA, should have gone front foot for the win, they got a undeserved draw, if they approach Wales in the same way I believe Wales will win, just.. but hopefully they’ll come out all guns blazing and we’ll win comfortably.

Both Sterling and Mount are having a quiet time at Chelsea so find it even more strange Southgate doesn't pick Foden.
Foden starts all the big games for Man City, a team far better than England.
    Weird.

I also think that Southgate needs to grow a pair, if Kane is quiet, get him off.. he’s been a passenger in last two games.

Don’t rate Mount personally, and has never been great for England. Foden surely must replace him against Wales. Sterling seems to play better for England than for his club, also is always likely to score, I’d pick Stirling for those reasons.

Sterling scored his usual goal against Iran, one he doesn't have to think about.
For me he's often wasteful and never seems in control of the ball.
Obviously nitpicking but he frustrates the heck out of me.

I just don’t see how Wales win this game. To have any chance, they will have to overload the attack, which on the turnover against the pace of Foden (hopefully), Sterling and Saka they will leave themselves wide open. I think they will keep it tight 1st half to ensure they are still in the game to launch in the second half. As I say, I don’t see any way Wales win this game.

They could pounce - because we will be playing ‘keep ball’ in our half most of the game.
Set pieces are another way they could win.
If England plays to our STRENGTHS we should overturn the Welsh. It’s just whether GS does it.

Funny how the Home Nations always start off in the same groups in these types of competitions…………..!
Surely it can’t be FIFA trying to engineer it so it’s more likely that only one UK team would progress……? <whistle>

remind me, wales definetely need this game by a bundle, because there seemed no passion or desire in that half, can only get better.

Jude Bellingham, I'm just in awe.
    Unbelievable player.
And a word for the often maligned Henderson, he was outstanding tonight.
They're raving about Rashford who did well but the Welsh keeper had a big say in the 2 goals he scored.

    Wings
My mother was from Treorchy and I do so echo your sentiments.
    Oh Calon Lan.
