Least Canada got a goal but Croatia was too good.

Was a decent open game which has been rare ..

I can imagine an awful lot of tequila being consumed after that?!

It has been my 40th on the 24th this week. I've been consuming like an addict all week. Today = downtime mind!

Did the slammers on my 30th at a rock club in Watford on a skool nite. I get a headache merely thinking about that hangover. The four of us that lasted the course of the night, all took a duvet day...

    Tequila shots, not a fan.
Tequila here, there are good ones that you can slowly sip on, like a fine Whiskey.
There are some really nice ones here.
They are divided into Blacno (young,) reposado (more time in barrels,) and Añejo (even more time in barrels) and, honestly, there is nothing better than a nice double Añejo after a meal with an expresso.
I have a 99000 Corralejo on ATM, and two are fine for me on a Sunday afternoon.

and, don't get me started on the Mezcal, that is another world of slow sipping joy.

That penalty award for Portugal was a complete joke - VAR needs to go after that.

Even Peter Walton agreed it wasn’t a pen as he simply just fell on the ball by accident.

Probably pressured into giving the penalty by VAR and the Portugal players .

And because he fell over backwards closer to the goal with a player behind him ?

The VARs were from Qatar and one from Australia who had previously been reported for getting two key penalty decisions wrong in his homeland.

Maybe with that history it’s no surprise an error was made .

There was a part of me that wanted England to finish second and for Senegal to destroy the USA while we beat Holland
