The middle eastern nations are on the upward curve mate. Qatar have shown they are short, but even they have had a professional game since the 60s. This tournament maybe a major accelerator for these sides. It is supposedly the case that grassroots participation are massive in region, and the infrastructure is starting to catch up.
He has what I call a 'golf club sense of humour' ... ... it's not quick or witty, just well worn familiarity.
Linesmen are becoming pointless. That was clearly offside, but he would be instructed not to flag. Spoils the emotion of the game a bit for me.
There were some early flags in the last game which was great to see. If the linos can see it they should be flagging. All these delays piss me right off and spoil the game imo.
