In a time and World when the word ‘great’ is so often overused Doddie Wear is one man that the word ‘great’ fitted like a glove.

He was a good player but he was a great man. His fight against MND was admirable and spoke volumes about the man. If you get the chance to watch the documentary about him it’s well worth watching.
