Tell 'em something they don't know, Trevor. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
I missed the first couple of minutes, so didn't realise they did this again. I thought they'd said they would do it for the opening match only; obviously not. Odd that there is no sanction for this ... or is it FIFA approved?!?
FIFA's technical study group (TSG) led by Arsene Wenger has called Ronaldo a 'total genius' for the way he 'won' his penalty in the Ghana game. So, so disappointing, game's gone to the dogs.
Still can't get my head round the fact that anyone takes "the knee" for this Floyd guy....he was a serial criminal and just a no good ****
Does that justify a cop kneeling on his neck for 9 minutes whilst he said “I can’t breathe”? I don’t think anyone, BLM included, argue that he was a model citizen.
They're not the brightest bunch. I'm looking forward to when they have to do the can-can to display their support of French troops with prosthetic legs. The way the 'new things' are coming to fruition it might not be long before those poor French amputees get their recognition. I'm going to change my twitter bio and add a French flag today so I am ready and bang on point when it happens.
Taking the knee as a stand against racism started in 2016, they're not doing it for George Floyd, who died in 2020.
Will have to listen more carefully next game but I am sure the commentators now claim they do it as a sign of inclusivity with no mention of BLM.
It obviously got traction elsewhere after the George Floyd incident, but they're not currently taking the knee as a show of support for George Floyd.
Quite funny seeing multimillionaire footballers taking the knee in support of a movement that has expressed Marxist thoughts. Though like all Marxists they take care of themselves. They must have been learning from FIFA regarding corruption and mishandling money,https://nypost.com/2022/05/17/inside-blm-co-founder-patrisse-cullors-questionable-tax-filings/
