Stones, Maguire played pretty well defensively I thought. The midfield let us down badly I though Rice, Bellingham and Mount all didn't play well.
Without Miggy doing the running Trippier just didn’t have the movement of eager players wanting the ball. He’ll be looking forward to linking up with Toon mates to give him back his mojo.
Rice was to busy holding hands with Stones and Maguire. They should both have told him to sod off and get his backside up the pitch and leave them be.

They're just not our best players imo just media favourites and Southgate favourites. None of them are deserving a place with the exception of kane and trippier.. They're the **** overrated dross that lives on reputation and hiding amongst good players at big clubs .
Was criminal that Foden didn’t come on. Our most technical player by a country mile, would fit into a Brazil, Spain type team yet Mount does the full 90. Does make you wonder what must go behind the scenes for managers to make certain decisions.
One of the saddest moments was after the game when Southgate couldn’t justify why Foden wasn’t brought on ahead of Grealish and Rashford.
You lot think you suffered - I woke up at 2am to watch that. We were outrun by them the whole match and they gave us no space to play. It wasn’t helped by having a midfield in which 4 players (Mount, Sterling, Saka and Bellingham) went missing. It needed changes at half time. We were better with Henderson and Grealish on but they should have been on much earlier. Foden should be playing in place of Mount. Mount did nothing against Iran or here to deserve a place in the starting line up. Only player who came out of it with any credit was Shaw who I thought had a great game.
Southgate is just a **** manager, Foden not starting never mind not coming on should be a sackable offence, Mason ****ing mount, are you kidding me.

Those players lack a proper coach at international level. Southgate has them playing not to lose. That's a San Marino mindset. Is it any wonder why we play ****e. He is effectively telling them that they aren't good enough.
