I don't love penalties like that...no intent. The miss sucks, though, but we've been much the better side here.

That's another penalty surely? Offside call was wrong, because it was Belgium who passed it back.

 

That's not how offside works. It's not our fault Eden Hazard wanted to play a lovely throughball.

Belgium's old central defense is really chugging out there.

 

I like the "in contest" part of the possession stats. It makes the stats far more accurate.

 

Ref seems to like using the whistle, which isn't really to our benefit, especially if Belgium wants to just pass the ball around the back as they have for the past few minutes.

 

Alaister Johnson is an attacker now, I guess. One of the hallmarks of the Canadian team: formations aren't really a thing.

 

I like the cut of Tajon Buchanan's jib. Looks like a real live wire.

 

Belgium are going to lose one of their matches about 7-3 or something stupid, if they continue like this

I expected one team to have most of the ball, while the other threatened on the counter. I just had the teams reversed.
