" FINANCE AND ECONOMIES GO THROUGH REGULAR PEAKS AND TROUGHS "
It is a fact Black Friday / black Monday / etc .. so much is made of the present event, but take away the war aspect/ the covid aspect go back to January 2020 and wipe out the 33 months in between [ never existed ] then and now and what do we have?....

4 - 6 new hospitals 500+ new nurses 500+ new police a thriving economy with interest rates at .25% an extra 500.000 people in work stock market up around 8500. City chugging along with LJ missing out on top 6 by the odd point and the club making regular profits of £8 -9m. ..................... diesel £1.20p /ltr Pint of milk 60p loaf of bread 80p ....................
Boris taking the mick out of KS every week, WHO HAS VERY LITTLE TO SAY and even less to offer. ECONOMY ON A FANTASTIC PEAK... all looking rosy ......... Nicola moaning on about referendum .... might even have been a tax cut like thresholds raised! even 2p reduction for first layer! ........... Strange how it has panned out

Even the Daily Fail is chipping in with a pop at Brexit now….. blaming the current PM and Hunt.

Rishi Sunak and Jeremy Hunt killed the dream of any Brexit dividend

DONT YOU GET THE MEDIA TREND? .. they see somethings as printable to gain a wider audience whilst maintaining their usual path . Labour are masters of this have nothing really to say or prove, no real plans and when they do jump into a hole left because the .gov "abandons it" like the current tax plans since Liz left they readily adopted ... when the .gov takes them back on board they are like a fish out of water nothing to give except back the unions to cause chaos with the economy and thus make itworse for everyone

The nurses are the only ones I agree with should get more money as they are at greater risk of being affected by present day illnesses and a rise in some of the attitudes of people toward them. Mentioned on here I have a number of family and friends working in hospitals... they are not poor in fact on reasonable money [ except they get no "extra" ] but have a lot to contend with.
2 of 5 in last couple of month's have witnessed "assaults / physical/verbal, thats threats" and done shifts that have been in excess of 12 hours! The one thing they are famous for is their neutrality! ... but there is a weakening of that toward certain areas of the populations patients who pay in /have not paid in and are getting treated for free!!!!

She ain't going anywhere - and neither are the whinging Scots and their silly (and dangerous) fantasy about what their independence would look like.
They will keep on chip chip chipping away until finally they get it (independence) - or until life becomes so 'brilliant' within the UK that they all start voting for the mainstream parties instead of their Nazi party.

Over the last 10 years, the Torys have trashed the UK economy, and have broken their own golden rules over tax hikes. They've failed to plan for the energy crisis, they've listened to scientists and green eco warriors over climate change who clearly don't know what they are on about, failed to control immigration, both legal and illegal. They have allowed frankly ridiculous idealogies to permeate every piece of our society including the Civil Service and NHS with no pushback whatsoever, and despite Starmers speech at the CBI, Labour would absolutely be no better at any of this at all.

I feel for Suella. I genuinely believe she would sort out the illegals properly, but she faces too many obstacles from people within her own party, and she won't be allowed to take us out of the ECHR even if she wants to. Meanwhile Sunak and Hunt, the gloablists, need to be removed. The money wasted over the last decade and the amount of fraud that is still going on which would cancel our debt needs focus, and it isn't getting it.

We need new leaders, new ideas, new parties, new goals and aspirations, new relationships with Europe and the rest of the world, and finally Proportional Representation to get away from this 2 party system which has run its course for me.

The Scottish government cannot hold an independence referendum without the UK government's consent, the Supreme Court has ruled.
As OS says Nicola gutted ...
Common sense at last prevails, now maybe Blackford will have to get a new script writer ! as will Nicola and concentrate on the true problems involving the Scottish .gov ... like overspending debt etc!
It would likely be a similar vote anyway with a shade on the side of NO!

THE ECONOMY is settling down, OK it is not like just turning a page and everything is hunky dory ... more like building a house .... dig out the foundation trench and fill with the base layer....... £ IS MORE STABLE ... MARKET IS steadily rising ..... some food prices actually stabilizing ... although eggs a bit in short supply! [ mainly due to AVIAN FLU ]

Amazing how KS is slowly morphing into a tory, well adopting tory thought! possibly thinking AS LABOUR WE HAVE NOTHING TO OFFER! but if we do as they do then the argument is it is me against him! to deliver ............

Add on some of the worst drug problems in Europe, and even bigger shambles of the state of their NHS than ours, and the alienation of people living in the Highlands and on some of the islands who will always want to remain members of the UK.

Has KS morphed into a Tory, or have the Tories morphed into Labour politicians ?
There is literally nothing between the parties from what I can see, and therefore neither are fit for purpose while current politicians ignore what the majority of the population want and make decisions on our behalf that nobody wants except them.

Yeah but the Scots keep voting for her.
Either they are totally stupid - or they think that independence is worth all the ****e her government delivers.

The young and those easily led have been duped by the SNP and the sense of nationalism, which will never, ever materialise into a well run country under them, especially if they ever actually gain independence.

as a frequent [ less now ] but have most of my family up there [ even they are split! ] but concensus is NO ... nicola lives in the populated area's [ drunks and druggies ] so is vastly different to outer less populated areas where believe it or not most actually work and enjoy doing so.
One town we visit up there has a population of about 900 -1000 and talking to a local they all have jobs in and around the community [ even some of the retired carry on working as more jobs than candidates ] In winter month's some even go into bigger towns to work as they work from April to start of November [ TOURISM orientated ]

Yet the other way round most England supporters would have backed Scotland a few decades ago before the hate of us was drilled into supporters
Mid Sevehties it all changed when Scotland fans broke the goal nets and crossbar at Wembley
Was that after we stuffed them 5-1 ?

    Sturgeon doesn't want a referendum.
    It's crocodile tears.
It's all about keeping her in power in Scotland making out the poor hard done Scots troubles are all down to Westminster.
She'd be toast if they ever managed independence.
I'd love to cut the moaning Scots adrift.
And send the buggers home that live here.
Seems every union baron is a bloody Scot as well.

PMQ's seeing off the opposition leader next came Blackford ...didnt really have 2 questions just a statement [ repeated mostly in second deliverance ] what part of the agreement does he really have a problem understanding ....

Devolvement was made in agreement with the ruling party of Scotland ...note word agreement also embraced agreed rules.
VOTED ON in both parliaments and agreed . = democracy
Had a referendum and lost people didnt want it ... then leader resigned and Nicola took over on the promise she would get REFERENDUM AND INDEPENDACE done ....... [ has ignored the Scottish people in pursuing this with financial spendings ]
THE HIGHEST COURT IN THE LAND has ruled what was agreed was agreed democratically and in totally good faith ..
Blackford totally disagree's with that .. the ruling is wrong we got a majority stating going for referendum and have a mandate ... bit like PUTRID and his 4 annexations referendums ... there was no one willing to risk torture to vote NO ...amazing how there is 100,000 plus happy people in KHERSON now. Mr Blackford ..in your ear ... people would vote SNP because they always do, go with the herd, vote because you say more money for this that and the other or building this that and the other ..............

    a defacto election promise .. <sorry> :emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl: :emoticon-0172-mooni
