I think as they are a few key players down we'll be able to get the better of them, I'm hoping Simpson will get a run out, he hasn't seen much playing time recently despite showing some promise in his last few games. 3-1 the tigers.
Bit of a sarky reply? Was only asking as couldnt rememder if they'd put the clause in his loan agreement
Wouldn't be disappointed with a draw, tough game with them banging in 6 on Tuesday at Donny and they're in form. Can't see us getting beat, we look a real solid unit at the moment and we're full of confidence. Be interesting to see how Ipswich play without Bullard, i know an Ipswich fan at uni and he says Bullards been instrumental in their upturn in form. A 1-1 draw tomorrow and 3 points at Derby on Tuesday night would be a good return before the games against Cardiff and Forest.
I'm expecting a close game... 1-2 at best but I think we will get at least a draw, which I'll be happy with against an improving Ipswich side. No less than 3 points at Derby will do on Tuesday though.
last time we visited Portman Rd we lost 1-0 (if we'd won and Stoke lost we'd have had automatic promotion). They don't lose at home. We don't lose away = draw. also not many large margins of victory between us over the years apart from a 5-2 thrashing they gave us at the KC in 06/07.. our last win there was in '89/90 - 1-0.. prediction: 1-1
Draws aren't any good to us any more, we need to start closing the gap with a WINNING run like Forest did, IF we are to catch the play-off contenders. Problem is Ipswich are the form side at the moment, so I think we will either win or loose. It will show Pearson's mentality, I think.
