For the nth time: Change the offside rule so your feet have to be offside. Offside is about gaining an advantage, and no one has ever gained an advantage by having a sliver of their shoulder offside, and you can't even really delineate where arm ends and shoulder begins. Having an electron microscope detect whether a completely superfluous body part was an inch offside is just dumb.
So if your head is offside but your feet aren't and you head the ball in you're not offside? Sorry, don't agree with you there at all.
How often, in the course of a season, does a player's head being offside matter? They don't run with their heads. Unless they are completely stationary from the time the ball is played, their head position at the time the ball is played makes zero difference.
The current rules of football seem to have been made up by people who have zero knowledge of how the human body actually works.
One goal was surprising. But probably nothing more than an annoyance to Argentina. But that second goal... It really is WOW now.
